Heliamphora
Heliamphora Heterodoxa X Minor
Origin: South-America
The Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor is indigenous to the mesa in Venezuela. The small bud at the top of the plant contains the nectar glands that attract insects. The Heliamphora’s pitchers are much harder than those of Sarracenia’s. These plants like a lot of light, so the plant turns red. Compared to other carnivorous plants the Heliamphora can be kept a little drier. Don’t keep these plants in water.
